Historical background: The Isuzu Bellett is a subcompact car produced by the Japanese manufacturer Isuzu from 1963 to 1973. This model replaced the Isuzu Hillman Minx, which was produced under license from the Rootes Group. The Bellett was available in various body styles, including a four-door or two-door sedan, a rare two-door station wagon known as the Bellett Express, and an even rarer commercial version, the Isuzu Wasp. There was also a four-door sedan version with a different body and rear suspension, known as the Bellett B, as well as two-door coupes and a fastback version.

The GT-R version, also known as the GT Type-R, was a racing variant of the GT, available also for individual customers. First presented in September 1969, the GT-R was equipped with a 1.6 L DOHC engine from the 117 Coupé, power-assisted brakes, and numerous other modifications. It visually stood out due to a specific paint scheme that included a completely black hood. The GT-R achieved many successes in racing, with only about 1,400 units of this version produced.

Assembly and painting kit. Does not include paints or glue. For assembly, separately sold modeling tools are needed (including cutters, files, tweezers), paints, brushes, and plastic model glue (e.g., Tamiya Extra Thin Cement). The photo shows a professionally assembled and painted model.
