Aircraft description: The Boeing 777, also known as the "Triple Seven," is an American long-range passenger aircraft produced by Boeing Commercial Airplanes. It is the largest twin-engine wide-body aircraft in the world, which has gained popularity due to its reliability and efficiency. The Boeing 777 was designed as a bridge between other Boeing wide-body models, such as the 767 and 747, and as a replacement for aging models like the DC-10 and L-1011.
This aircraft can accommodate between 301 and 368 passengers in a three-class configuration and has a range of 5,240 to 8,555 nautical miles (9,700 to 15,840 km). Distinctive features of the Boeing 777 include large turbofan engines, raked wingtips, six wheels on each main landing gear, a fully circular fuselage cross-section, and a blade-shaped tail. It was the first Boeing aircraft to use fly-by-wire control and a carbon composite structure in its stabilizers.
History and achievements: The Boeing 777-300, introduced to the market in 1998, is an extended version of the 777-200 model, offering 20% more seats. It can accommodate up to 368 passengers in a three-class configuration or up to 550 in a single-class configuration. With increased fuel capacity and powerful engines, the 777-300 has a range of up to 6,005 nautical miles (11,121 km).
