History and achievements of the Boeing 787-9: The Boeing 787 Dreamliner is a wide-body passenger aircraft developed by Boeing Commercial Airplanes. After abandoning the Sonic Cruiser project, Boeing announced the conventional 7E7 model, which later became known as the 787, focusing mainly on fuel efficiency. The program was launched in 2004, and the first flight took place in December 2009. The 787-9 model, an extended version of the 787-8, entered service in August 2014 with All Nippon Airways.

The Boeing 787-9 is known for its innovative use of composite materials, making it lighter and more economical to operate. This aircraft can carry up to 296 passengers over a distance of up to 7,565 nautical miles (approximately 14,010 km), making it ideal for long-haul flights without stopovers.
