History and significance of Junkers F13:

Junkers F13 is the world's first all-metal transport aircraft, designed and produced by the German manufacturer Junkers. This aircraft, introduced shortly after the end of World War I, was a pioneering project in civil aviation. It was a low-wing monoplane with an enclosed space for four passengers and an open cockpit for two crew members.

The Junkers F13 was distinguished by its duralumin construction, which was a groundbreaking approach at the time. This made the aircraft lighter and more durable than its wooden counterparts.
