This is a model of the South Korean self-propelled howitzer K9 Thunder in 1:48 scale. It is a kit from the MCP (Multi Color Parts) series, which means that the parts have been molded in several colors, allowing for an aesthetic appearance of the model even without painting. An additional advantage of the kit is the included electric drive with a wired remote control, enabling the model to move.

K9 Thunder is a modern 155 mm self-propelled howitzer developed by Samsung Techwin (now Hanwha Aerospace) for the Armed Forces of the Republic of Korea. The vehicle was designed to replace older K55 systems. It features high mobility, a high rate of fire, and an advanced fire control system, making it one of the most popular artillery systems in the world, exported to many countries, including Poland.
