The plastic model kit depicts the Japanese reconnaissance seaplane Kawanishi E7K1 Type 94 Model 1 in the colors of the unit stationed on the cruiser Ashigara. The set includes additional parts allowing for the construction of a miniature ship catapult.
The E7K1 seaplane was a three-seat biplane powered by a liquid-cooled inline engine, widely used by the Imperial Japanese Navy in the pre-war period and in the early stages of World War II.
Assembly and painting kit. Does not include paints or glue. For assembly, separately sold modeling tools are needed (including cutters, files, tweezers), paints, brushes, and plastic model glue (e.g. Tamiya Extra Thin Cement). The photo shows a professionally assembled and painted model.
