The Kia Brisa is one of the most important models in the history of South Korean automotive industry. Produced between 1974–1981, it was structurally based on the second generation of the Mazda Familia (1000/1300 series). It was Kia's first passenger car to roll off the assembly line at the Sohari plant. The vehicle played a key role in the motorization of South Korea, offering reliability and economy, which allowed it to effectively compete with contemporary Hyundai models.

The kit belongs to the MCP (Multi Color Parts) series - the parts are molded in several colors, which facilitates construction, although painting is recommended for a professional effect. An additional advantage of the set is the included female driver figure, which allows for the creation of an interesting genre scene or diorama.
