History of Lancia Stratos HF: Lancia Stratos HF, also known as Lancia Stratos, is a sports car with a mid-engine layout, designed specifically for rallying by the Italian manufacturer Lancia. This model achieved great success in competitions, winning world championship titles in rallying in 1974, 1975, and 1976. Stratos was also the winner of prestigious races such as Targa Florio, Tour de France Automobile, and Giro d'Italia automobilistico.

The design of Stratos HF was created by Bertone, with Marcello Gandini as the chief designer, known for designs such as Lamborghini Miura and Countach. The Stratos HF prototype was presented at the Turin Motor Show in 1971, and its distinctive feature was the semi-circular front windshield, providing excellent forward visibility.

Rally successes: Stratos was the first car designed from the ground up for rallying, marking a new era in this sport. Thanks to its construction and performance, Stratos dominated rallies in the 1970s and early 1980s. This car was powered by a Dino Ferrari V6 engine, which in the road version achieved an output of 190 HP. In the rally version, this power was even greater, making Stratos one of the most powerful rally cars of its time.

In 1975, during the Tour de Corse rally, the Lancia Stratos HF driven by Bernard Darniche from the Chardonnet team took first place, which was one of many successes of this model. Stratos was also the winner of the Monte Carlo rally in 1975, 1976, and 1977, and achieved success in other international competitions.
