History and usage:
The Land Rover Series IIA, produced from 1961 to 1971, is considered the most classic and durable model in the history of this brand. It was available in two wheelbase versions: short (88 inches) and long (109 inches). Its reliability and versatility made it popular not only in the British market but also in Commonwealth countries as well as in the Middle East and Africa.
Although this model represents the civilian version, many of these vehicles were used by the military in various configurations. The kit includes details such as the front spare wheel, which could be seen in vehicles used by the Jordanian military or taken over by the Israel Defense Forces (IDF).
Assembly and painting kit. Does not include paints or glue. For assembly, separately sold modeling tools are needed (including cutters, files, tweezers), paints, brushes, and plastic model glue (e.g., Tamiya Extra Thin Cement). The photo shows a professionally assembled and painted model.
