Late US Navy Paint Set 6x17ml Hataka AS05.2
Acrylic paint set from the Red Line series, optimized for airbrush painting, containing standard camouflage colors of US Navy aircraft used from 1943 to 1945.
The set includes six 17ml bottles with a convenient dropper:
- HTK-A001 Dark Sea Blue (ANA 623) - used on upper surfaces and as an overall color from mid-1944.
- HTK-A027 Intermediate Blue (ANA 608) - used on the sides of carrier aircraft fuselages from January 1943 to mid-1944.
- HTK-A049 Insignia White (ANA 511) - color for the lower surfaces of carrier aircraft and anti-submarine warfare (ASW) machines.
- HTK-A044 Dark Gull Grey (ANA 621) - used from June 1944 in ASW schemes on the upper surfaces of aircraft operating in the Atlantic.
- HTK-A048 Light Gull Grey (ANA 620) - used from June 1944 in ASW schemes on the sides of the fuselages of aircraft operating in the Atlantic.
- HTK-A211 Interior Green (ANA 611) - standard color for the interiors of cockpits of most US Navy aircraft during this period.
The set allows for the recreation of the famous tri-colour camouflage introduced in January 1943, consisting of the colors Sea Blue, Intermediate Blue, and Insignia White with smooth transitions between the colors.
