The Leopard 1A5 is a modernized version of the legendary German Leopard 1 tank, which entered service in the 1980s. The main change compared to its predecessors was the introduction of the modern EMES 18 fire control system, based on solutions from the Leopard 2 tank, which significantly increased accuracy and effectiveness on the battlefield. These tanks were characterized by high mobility and were used by many armies around the world.
