Description
Luftwaffe "Legion Condor" Paint Set 6x17ml Hataka HTK-BS32
Acrylic paint set from the Blue Line series, optimized for brush painting, containing the standard colors of Luftwaffe aircraft operating in Spain from 1936 to 1939.
From July 1936 to March 1939, the Luftwaffe unit known as "Legion Condor" actively participated in the Spanish Civil War, supporting the nationalist forces of General Franco. Most of the Legion's aircraft wore the then-standard Luftwaffe colors - initially the uniform camouflage RLM 63 (or RLM 02), later replaced by the RLM 61, 62, and 63 scheme on the upper surfaces and RLM 65 on the lower ones.
The set includes 6 bottles of 17ml:
- HTK-B023 Grey (RLM02) - used on early Ju 52, He 59, He 111 and as a general color for early Bf 109B-1.
- HTK-B167 Light Grey (RLM63) - general color for early He 51, also used in the RLM 61+62+63/65 scheme.
- HTK-B168 Dark Brown (RLM61) - used from mid-1937 on upper surfaces in the standard pattern (including He 51, Ju 87, He 111).
- HTK-B169 Green (RLM62) - used from mid-1937 on upper surfaces in the standard Luftwaffe pattern.
- HTK-B029 Light Blue (RLM65) - color for lower surfaces used from mid-1937.
- HTK-B040 Black-Grey (RLM66) - standard color for instrument panels and cockpit areas visible from the outside.
