An advanced plastic model representing the modern American main battle tank M1A1 Abrams in AIM (Abrams Integrated Management) or TUSK (Tank Urban Survivability Kit) variants. The kit allows for the construction of a miniature of the vehicle used by both the US Army and the United States Marine Corps (USMC).

The M1 Abrams is a legend of modern battlefields, introduced into service in the 1980s. The M1A1 AIM version consists of vehicles that have undergone a thorough modernization, restoring them to factory condition while equipping them with modern communication and battlefield management systems. The TUSK package was developed based on experience from urban combat during Operation Iraqi Freedom, including additional reactive armor on the hull sides, gunner shields, and remotely operated weapon stations.

Kit features:

Option to build the model in USMC M1A1 AIM or U.S. Army M1A1 TUSK configuration.
Fully movable torsion bar suspension, replicating the operation of the original in the field.
Working link-and-length tracks that do not require glue for assembly.
Movable main gun barrel with realistic elevation and depression angles.
All crew hatches can be built as open or closed.
Transparent parts for vision blocks and sighting system optics.
Includes precise photo-etched parts to highlight details.

Kit for self-assembly and painting. Does not include paints or glue. For assembly, you will need separately sold modeling tools (e.g., nippers, files, tweezers), paints, brushes, and plastic model glue (e.g., Tamiya Extra Thin Cement). The photo shows a professionally assembled and painted model.
