The original vehicle, better known as the T28 Super Heavy Tank (or 105 mm Gun Motor Carriage T95), was an American prototype tank destroyer designed during World War II. The design was distinguished by the lack of a turret and a unique four-track system, where the outer pairs could be removed for rail transport.
