Historical background:
The M3 Stuart, also known as the light tank M3, was an American light tank used during World War II. It first entered service with the British Army in early 1941 and participated in the North African campaign in July of the same year. The British named it "Stuart" in honor of the Confederate general from the Civil War, J.E.B. Stuart. These tanks were also unofficially called "Honeys" by the British due to their smooth ride.
The M3 Stuart was the first American tank used in combat during World War II, when it clashed with Japanese forces in tank battles in the Philippines in December 1941. Besides the Pacific War, in the later years of World War II, the M3 was mainly used for reconnaissance and support.
