History and significance of the M4 Sherman:

The M4 Sherman tank was one of the most important and widely produced armored vehicles of World War II. Designed in 1941, the Sherman became the backbone of American armored forces and was produced in many versions and variants. Its versatility and reliability made it used by many armies around the world, both during and after the war.

The M4A3 76 mm Wet Sherman version presented by this model was introduced in 1944 in response to fire issues that were common in earlier models. The "Wet" version featured an innovative solution of submerging fuel tanks in a propylene glycol solution, which significantly reduced the risk of explosions and fires.
