A plastic model kit depicting the American medium tank M4A3E8 Sherman, nicknamed "Thunderbolt VII". This vehicle was the personal combat vehicle of Lieutenant Colonel Creighton Abrams, commander of the 37th Tank Battalion of the US 4th Armored Division in 1945.

The M4 Sherman was the most important tank in the Allied forces during World War II. The M4A3E8 version, commonly known as the "Easy Eight", represented the peak of this design's development. It was equipped with the new HVSS (Horizontal Volute Spring Suspension) with wider tracks, which significantly improved maneuverability in difficult terrain and the stability of the gun platform. The main armament was the 76 mm M1 cannon with high penetration capability, able to engage newer German designs.
