Plastic military model kit: M911 C-HET with M747 trailer + M60A1 with ERA 1:72 Takom 5024X
Model kit in 1:72 scale from Takom, depicting the American transport set M911 C-HET with M747 trailer and the M60A1 main battle tank equipped with reactive armor (ERA). This is a limited edition, offering a complete logistical set for the US Army.
Oshkosh M911 is a heavy tractor truck introduced into service in the US Army in 1977. It was designed by Oshkosh Corporation based on the civilian model F2365 to provide rapid transport of heavy armored equipment. Powered by a Detroit Diesel engine with 450 HP, it was capable of towing trailers with a capacity of up to 60 tons, such as the included M747. Although it has been gradually replaced by newer units like the M1070, the M911 played a key role in transporting Patton series tanks.
M60A1 Patton with ERA armor is an upgrade of the classic American second-generation main battle tank. The addition of reactive armor blocks was intended to increase the vehicle's survivability on the battlefield against shaped charges. These tanks in this configuration were extensively used by the United States Marine Corps (USMC) during Operation Desert Storm in 1991.
