A plastic model kit depicting the Mercedes-Benz Wrecker Truck in 1:24 scale. The design is based on the reliable and durable Mercedes-Benz MB 2238 6x4 truck chassis, which was widely used for special tasks and heavy transport. Thanks to its powerful engine and solid frame and suspension construction, these vehicles were ideally suited for recovering damaged or accident-involved heavy vehicles, even over long distances.

The original Mercedes-Benz NG (New Generation) series vehicle was valued for its efficient transmission and optimal weight distribution, which ensured safety when towing the heaviest loads. The wrecker version was equipped with a rear-mounted crane capable of lifting immobilized vehicles and numerous storage compartments for tools and equipment necessary for field repairs or towing operations.
