Description
Plastic model airplane for assembly: Messerschmitt Bf 109E-7/Trop 1:72 ICM 72133
Plastic model for assembly of the German fighter Messerschmitt Bf 109E-7/Trop from World War II in 1:72 scale.
The Messerschmitt Bf 109 is a symbol of the air power of the German Luftwaffe. This aircraft belonged to the first generation of fast monoplane fighters from the 1930s, and its later versions were produced until the end of World War II. The Bf 109E version appeared in 1938, and the Bf 109E-3 became the first mass-produced German fighter. These aircraft participated in the Polish, Norwegian, and French campaigns from 1939 to 1940.
The E-7/Trop version was specially adapted for operations in tropical conditions, equipped with dust filters and additional survival equipment for the desert. These aircraft operated mainly in North Africa, supporting General Rommel's Afrika Korps.
