Plastic model kit: Messerschmitt Me 262 A-1a 1:72 Arma Hobby 70083
The Messerschmitt Me 262 A-1a Schwalbe (German for swallow) is a groundbreaking design in aviation history - the world's first mass-produced jet fighter to enter combat service. This German, all-metal, twin-engine low-wing aircraft was technologically superior to enemy aircraft, achieving a maximum speed of 900 km/h.
The design is based on a precise 3D model by Arthur Bentley, which guarantees a faithful reproduction of the silhouette and correct geometry of the airframe. The kit features a high level of detail while maintaining a modeler-friendly construction.
Main features of the model:- Extended slats and richly detailed landing gear bays.
- Armament in the form of R4M rockets and 250 kg bombs.
- Metal nose weight included in the set to ensure correct balance of the model on the nose gear.
- Arma Jig assembly stand to facilitate maintaining geometry during gluing.
- Highest quality decals printed by Cartograf.
- Masks for painting the cockpit glazing.
- Code to download free 3D printable files for additional accessories.
- Messerschmitt Me 262 A-1a, W.Nr. 500071 "White 3", Oberfahnrich Hans Guido Mutke, 9./JG 7, April 1945.
- Messerschmitt Me 262 A-1a, Jagdverband 44, Generalleutnant Adolf Galland, February-April 1945.
- Avia S-92 "Turbina", V-40, Czechoslovak Air Force, 1947-1950.
