History of the original:
The MH-6J Little Bird is one of the most recognizable aircraft used by the 160th Special Operations Aviation Regiment (160th SOAR), known as the "Night Stalkers". The design originates from the civilian MD 500 Defender helicopter and has been optimized for transporting special forces operators in difficult combat conditions. The machine is characterized by a single-engine configuration with a tail rotor and characteristic benches mounted on the sides of the fuselage, which allow for the rapid deployment and evacuation of up to four soldiers. Thanks to its maneuverability and small size, the Little Bird has become an indispensable tool in missions requiring precision and covert action worldwide.
