Description
Plastic model aircraft for assembly: MiG-25 RBF 1:72 ICM 72174
The Mikoyan-Gurevich MiG-25 (NATO reporting name: Foxbat) is a Soviet, twin-engine, supersonic, high-wing reconnaissance aircraft and interceptor fighter. Designed in the late 1960s at the Mikoyan design bureau, it was the world's first fighter to reach speeds of around Mach 3. The main task of the machine was to intercept American strategic bombers and conduct high-altitude reconnaissance.
The MiG-25 RBF version is a modernized reconnaissance-bomber modification with improved avionics, produced in 1981-1982. These advanced machines served in the air forces of the Soviet Union (later Russia) and were exported to countries such as Iraq and Libya. This aircraft still inspires admiration today with its performance, including flight altitude records exceeding 37,000 meters.
The model kit from ICM allows for the construction of a detailed replica of this legendary aircraft. The model is characterized by a precise reproduction of the panel lines and fuselage details.
