The MiG-25PU model in 1:72 scale from ICM (catalog number 72178) is an excellent proposition for aviation and modeling enthusiasts who want to recreate one of the most extraordinary training aircraft of the Soviet Union. The MiG-25PU, being the training version of the famous interceptor MiG-25, was designed to train pilots to operate this exceptional aircraft. Serial production began in 1970 in Gorky and lasted until 1985, during which approximately 180 units were produced.

Historical information: The MiG-25PU was a key element in pilot training in the Soviet Union, enabling them to master the flying techniques of one of the fastest fighter aircraft of that time. This aircraft, with a maximum speed of up to 2800 km/h and a range of 1200 km, was not only used for training purposes but also participated in the "Buran" space program. Its design was based on the interceptor version of the MiG-25, with additional modifications such as a redesigned nose section to accommodate the instructor's cockpit.
