History of the Model T: The Model T, also known as "Tin Lizzie," was first built on September 27, 1908. It was a car equipped with a four-cylinder engine with a power of 22.5 horsepower. Mass production of this model began at the Highland Park Ford Plant in Michigan in early 1914. From 1908 to 1927, a total of 15,007,003 units of the Model T were produced, making it one of the most produced cars in history.
The Model T was available in various body styles, among which was also the open two-seater roadster from 1913, which is the subject of this model kit. Roadsters were popular due to their lightness and simplicity, making them ideal vehicles for short rides and excursions.
