Modern Czech AF Paint Set vol. 1 Hataka HTK-CS89

This paint set from the Orange Line series (cellulose lacquers) is designed for painting aircraft of the Czech Air Force since the 1990s. The Czech military aviation was one of the first in the former Warsaw Pact to develop a completely new camouflage scheme, which has been in use for over 20 years.

The new color scheme was first applied in the mid-1990s on W-3 Sokol helicopters, and later on Mi-2, Mi-8/17/171, and Mi-24V aircraft. In the mid-2000s, the same scheme (excluding the green color) was adapted for Let L-410 transport aircraft and L-159A/T1 light fighters. Since 2005, the Czech Air Force has also been using JAS 39C/D Gripen aircraft in a standard two-tone gray paint scheme.

• HTK-C031 Gunship Grey (FS36118) - used on the upper surfaces of Mi-24V, W-3A, Mi-8/17/171 helicopters and L-410, C-295M, and L-159A/T1 aircraft.
• HTK-C054 Grey (FS36270) - used on the upper surfaces of Mi-24V, W-3A, Mi-8/17/171 helicopters and L-410, C-295M, and L-159A/T1 aircraft.
• HTK-C301 Dark Olive Green (FS34096) - used on the upper surfaces of Mi-24V, W-3A, Mi-8/17/171 helicopters and C-295M and L-410T/UVPT aircraft.
• HTK-C037 Light Ghost Grey (FS36375) - used on the lower surfaces of Mi-24V, W-3A, Mi-8/17/171 helicopters and L-410, C-295M, and L-159A/T1 aircraft.
• HTK-C265 Neutral Grey (FS36173) - standard color for the upper surfaces of Czech JAS 39C/D Gripen fighters.
• HTK-C302 Gripen Grey (FS36373) - standard color for the lower surfaces of Czech JAS 39C/D Gripen fighters.
