Acrylic paint set from the Blue Line series, optimized for brush painting, containing standard colors of British aerobatic and test aircraft used since the 1950s.
The Royal Air Force is renowned worldwide not only for its combat achievements but also for its top-quality aerobatic teams. This set allows for the recreation of historical and contemporary paint schemes of the most famous display teams and experimental aircraft.
Contents of the set:- HTK-B100 Jet Black / Night - Equivalent to BS381C:642, the base color of Hawker Hunter aircraft of the Black Arrows aerobatic team (No. 111 Squadron RAF).
- HTK-B290 BS Lemon Yellow - BS381C:355, the general color of Folland Gnat aircraft of the Yellowjacks team (No 4 Flying Training School).
- HTK-B291 BS Cherry Red - BS381C:538 (also known as Post Office Red or Roundel Red). The color of Folland Gnat aircraft of the Red Arrows team until 1979.
- HTK-B276 BS Signal Red - BS381C:537, the current color of the Red Arrows team. Also used in the patriotic "Raspberry Ripple" paint scheme.
- HTK-B101 Traffic White - Used on the upper surfaces of the fuselage and wings in the "Raspberry Ripple" scheme of British test aircraft (ETPS, A&AEE, and RAE).
- HTK-B292 BS Oxford Blue - BS381C:105, the color of the lower parts of the fuselage in the experimental "Raspberry Ripple" paint scheme.
The "Raspberry Ripple" paint scheme was introduced in 1976 to standardize the colors of Ministry of Defence (MOD) aircraft, referencing the patriotic colors of the British flag (Union Jack).
