Description
Retarder Mr. Hobby Mr. Retarder Mild (for Mr. Color paints)
A drying retardant for Mr. Hobby paints.
Eliminates streaking when painting with a brush.
Improves the uniformity and gloss of the airbrushed surface.
Enhances paint adhesion by allowing for stronger bonds when applying paint "wet on wet".
How to use
Brush
- add about 10% of the retarder to the poured portion of Mr. Hobby paint,
- paint with a brush in one direction, ignoring any potential unevenness.
Airbrush
- add about 15% of the retarder to the poured portion of Mr. Hobby paint,
- paint normally, paying attention to any drips that may occur due to excessive accumulation of slower-drying paint,
- apply "wet on wet" to achieve a glossy surface.
