Mr. Hobby SF-284 Mr. Surfacer 1000 gray primer 40ml

Mr.Surfacer is a series of high-quality primers / liquid fillers for polystyrene models.
Thanks to the use of high-class components, the resulting coating is extremely thin, durable, and mechanically resistant.
With proper use, there is no risk of flooding even the most intricate details of models such as rivets or delicate panel lines.

Mr.Surfacer:
- improves adhesion and proper distribution of applied modeling paints,
- highlights and allows for correction of minor defects or shortcomings that occurred during the assembly or sanding of the model,
- during possible sanding, it dusts like filler and allows for precise correction of errors,
- if necessary, another layer of the product can be applied to the previously sanded elements after the correction stage.

The numerical values of Surfacer indicate the grain size in the primer.
The higher the number (500->1000->1200->1500), the finer the grain and smoother the final coating.
The lower the value (1500->1200->1000->500), the coarser the grain and greater filling properties.

Instructions for use:
We recommend applying the product by spraying with an airbrush.
When painting with an airbrush, it should be diluted with Mr.Color Leveling Thinner in a ratio of 1:2-3 (Mr.Surfacer : thinner).
Spread evenly "wet" over the entire surface of the model. After drying, the product will significantly reduce in volume, highlighting all the intricate details of the model.
After several minutes, it is suitable for mechanical processing or applying additional layers. This time may be extended with increased humidity or lower temperatures.
