Mr. Color UM02 Ultra Gold is an advanced modeling paint belonging to the innovative Ultra Metallic series. It has been developed for modelers seeking a metallic effect with intensity and gloss that surpasses standard metallic paints available on the market.
The uniqueness of this series lies in the use of fine particles of metal powder, which have been encapsulated in a special resin coating. This technology allows for achieving a deep, mirror-like shine while maintaining a certain degree of transparency. As a result, the modeler has the ability to influence the final appearance of the coating by selecting the color of the base coat or applying the paint on transparent elements.
Technical recommendations:- For thinning, it is best to use the dedicated Mr. Color Rapid Thinner.
- The recommended thinning ratio is 1 part paint to 2 parts thinner.
- When airbrushing, due to the presence of metal particles, it is recommended to use a nozzle with a diameter of at least 0.3 mm, which prevents clogging.
