Mr.Hobby AVC06 Russian Aircraft Blue 1 paint 10ml AVC06

This paint is from the limited edition Mr. Color 40th Anniversary, released by Mr. Hobby (GSI Creos) in 2017 to commemorate the 40th anniversary of the Mr. Color line (formerly Level Color). This series is characterized by the use of innovative ingredients and a unique color palette.

The color AVC-06 Russian Aircraft Blue 1 was developed to faithfully reproduce the camouflage color used on Russian aircraft (the so-called Sergekova camouflage). The authenticity of the color has been verified and authorized by the renowned modeler Kenji Yanai, who specializes in Russian aviation.

Instructions for use:

Before use, the paint should be mixed very thoroughly to achieve a uniform consistency.
The product is intended for application with a brush or airbrush on a previously cleaned and degreased surface.
The recommended thinners are Mr.Color Leveling Thinner or Mr.Color Thinner.
The suggested dilution ratio is from 1:1 to 1:3 (paint : thinner).
To improve adhesion and achieve a perfectly smooth surface, it is recommended to use primers from the Mr.Surfacer series.

Technical tips:

The paint offers a semi-gloss finish.
The degree of glossiness can be adjusted by adding Flat Base products (C-030, C-188, or C-189) in an amount of 5-10%.
The painted surface can be protected with clear coats from the Mr.Hobby series (e.g., GX-100, C-181, C-182).
