Product CL05 is a semi-transparent pigment paint (transparent), which is used for shading selected areas of the face or exposed body parts. Thanks to its characteristics, it allows for smooth tonal transitions and the creation of depth and shadow effects, which significantly increases the realism of the painted figure.

• Before use, the paint should be mixed very well to achieve a uniform consistency.
• The paint can be applied with a brush, but the best shading effects are achieved when using an airbrush.
• For thinning, it is recommended to use dedicated thinners: Mr.Color Leveling Thinner (provides a smoother surface) or Mr.Color Thinner.
• The suggested thinning ratio is from 1:1 to 1:3 (paint : thinner).
• The product gives a glossy finish after drying, which facilitates the application of decals or further weathering work.

To change the gloss level to semi-matte or matte, you can add preparations from the Flat Base series (C-030, C-188, or C-189) to the paint in an amount from 5% to 10%, or cover the finished model with an appropriate clear coat from the Mr. Hobby series.
