Paint from the Acrysion series is a modern, water-based acrylic paint from the renowned Japanese manufacturer Mr.Hobby (GSI Creos). It has been developed with user safety and work comfort in mind, offering an ecological formula with a minimized odor.

Acrysion stands out from traditional vinyl paints due to its high scratch resistance and excellent adhesion. The special formula ensures that the paint does not dry too quickly on the airbrush nozzle, allowing for precise painting of even complex camouflage patterns without the need for frequent tool cleaning.

Characteristics and usage:

• Before use, the paint must be mixed very thoroughly (recommended minimum of 30 seconds) so that the pigment, binder, and solvent form a homogeneous mass.
• The paint can be applied with a brush (recommended 2-3 thin coats) or an airbrush.
• When painting with an airbrush, thinning in a 1:0.5-1.5 ratio is recommended. Although water can be used, the best results are achieved using the dedicated Acrysion Solvent thinner.
• The coating is durable after drying and resistant to masking tapes.
• It can be used on various surfaces: plastic (polystyrene), metal, paper, and ceramics.

Modeling tips:

• To achieve a perfectly smooth surface and increase mechanical durability, it is recommended to apply a primer beforehand (e.g., from the Mr. Surfacer series).
• If a change in gloss level is required, the N-040 Flat Base preparation can be added to the paint (an addition of 5-10% changes the finish by one degree).
• After complete drying, it is worth protecting the surface with a clear varnish, which will prepare the model for applying decals and weathering processes.
