Mr.Hobby T217 Mr.Color GGX Rapid Thinner 400ml

Mr.Color GGX Rapid Thinner is a modern thinner developed by GSI Creos, dedicated to the new line of Mr.Color GGX paints and the classic Mr.Color C series. The product has been optimized for achieving perfectly matte surfaces and working with metallic colors (except for the standard C series).

Characteristics and application:

Primarily intended for painting matte surfaces.
Ensures excellent paint flow while maintaining a quick initial drying time.
Can be used to dilute the basic Mr.Color C series (excluding metallic paints from this series).
Recommended for use with GGX series paints, such as white LG-001 or matte lacquer LG-113.

Recommendations for working with the product:

Suggested thinning ratios for airbrush: 1:1.25 for white paint LG-001 and matte lacquer LG-113.
The drying time of the new GGX thinners is longer than that of the classic Mr.Color version, allowing for better leveling of the layer.
The full drying and curing process depends on environmental conditions and may take several days.
For maximum hardness of the coating before any polishing, it is recommended to wait about 6-7 days.
