Plastic model of the vertical takeoff aircraft: MV-22B Osprey 1:72 Hasegawa E41

The Bell-Boeing V-22 Osprey is a tiltrotor aircraft that allows for both vertical (VTOL) and short (STOL) takeoff and landing. The first flight of the machine took place in March 1989. It is the first serially produced aircraft with a rotating propulsion system.

The aircraft is primarily used by the USMC (Marine Corps) - it is ideal for rapid transport between a ship and the battlefield.

Plastic model for assembly and painting in 1/72 scale
Length approx. 245.5mm, width approx. 339mm
The set includes two pilot figures
The set includes a stand allowing the aircraft to be displayed in flight
The landing gear can be assembled in either open or closed position
The angle of the engine nacelles can be changed to present the model in helicopter or airplane mode, or an intermediate position
The flaps on the wings can be mounted at any angle

Kit for self-assembly and painting. Does not include paints or glue. Assembly requires separately sold modeling tools (including cutters, files, tweezers), paints, brushes, and plastic model glue (e.g. Tamiya Extra Thin Cement). The photo shows a professionally assembled and painted model.
