Plastic car model kit: Nissan 240RS (BS110) "1983 Safari Rally" 1:24 Hasegawa 20792
A plastic model kit depicting the legendary rally car Nissan 240RS (BS110) in the livery from the grueling 1983 Safari Rally. This is a limited edition kit from the renowned Japanese manufacturer Hasegawa, enriched with new parts dedicated to this specific rally specification.
The Nissan 240RS, based on the Silvia S110 model, was the homologation base for the Group B rally car. Equipped with a 2.4-liter FJ24 engine, it became one of Nissan's most recognizable machines in off-road rallying in the 1980s, famous for its extraordinary durability in the extreme conditions of African wilderness.
Kit features:- Scale: 1:24
- Body parts molded in white
- Additional plastic parts: front and rear animal guards and additional auxiliary lighting
- Photo-etched parts: headlight protective mesh
- Includes window painting masks for precise finishing
- Metal inlets for increased detail realism
- White mudguards made of appropriate material
- Antenna made of stainless steel
The model faithfully reproduces the silhouette of the vehicle competing in the Safari Rally, taking into account the specific off-road modifications required to survive the Kenyan routes.
Kit for self-assembly and painting. Does not include paints or glue. Assembly requires separately sold modeling tools (e.g., nippers, files, tweezers), paints, brushes, and plastic model glue (e.g., Tamiya Extra Thin Cement). The photo shows a professionally assembled and painted model.
