A 1:76 scale model kit depicting an icon of German logistics and anti-tank artillery from World War II – the Opel Blitz truck and the PaK 40 gun. This detailed model allows for the recreation of a mobile anti-tank unit of the Wehrmacht from the final stage of the conflict.

Historical Background:

The 7.5 cm PaK 40 (Panzerabwehrkanone 40) was the foundation of German anti-tank artillery in the second half of the war. Work on it was accelerated after clashes with Soviet T-34 and KV-1 tanks. Although smaller than the famous 'eighty-eight', the PaK 40 was an extremely effective weapon, capable of destroying almost any Allied tank of that period. Due to its considerable weight (over 1.4 tons), the gun required towing by motor vehicles, such as the universal Opel Blitz truck, which formed the transport backbone of the German army.
