Plastic model for assembly of the American WWII fighter P-51D Mustang in 1:72 scale. The Weekend Edition set from Eduard focuses on machines equipped with a dorsal fin, serving in the 8th, 15th, and 20th Fighter Groups of the USAAF.

The North American P-51 Mustang is a legendary long-range, single-engine American fighter. Considered one of the best aircraft designs of World War II, the Mustang earned the reputation of an almost perfect machine after the adoption of the British Rolls-Royce Merlin engine (produced in the USA as the Packard V-1650). The P-51D version was the most widely produced variant, characterized by a bubble canopy providing the pilot with excellent visibility in all directions.
