Plastic military model for assembly: Panzerbefehlswagen 35 (t) 1:72 First To Fight PL039
A plastic model depicting the German command tank Panzerbefehlswagen 35 (t) from the Second World War period, prepared by the Polish manufacturer First To Fight as part of the September 1939 series.
History and Construction:
The LT vz. 35, known in German service as the Panzerkampfwagen 35 (t), was originally a Czechoslovak light tank. After the annexation of Czechoslovakia by the Third Reich, these vehicles were taken over by the Wehrmacht. The Panzerbefehlswagen version was a specialized command variant, equipped with additional radio sets, which often involved a characteristic frame antenna. These tanks took an active part in the September Campaign in 1939, the fighting in France in 1940, and in the initial phase of Operation Barbarossa on the Eastern Front. Powered by a 120 HP Skoda T-11 engine, they were armed with a 37 mm KwK 34(t) cannon.
Model Characteristics:
- Scale: 1:72
- Vehicle Type: Command Tank / Tracked
- Historical Period: World War II
