Plastic model kit: Parasaurolophus Bandai 66704
Parasaurolophus dinosaur model from the Plannosaurus series
Parasaurolophus is one of the most recognizable duck-billed dinosaurs, living in the late Cretaceous period in what is now North America. Its most distinctive feature was a long, tubular crest on its head, which scientists believe was used for producing low-frequency communication sounds and for thermoregulation.
The Plannosaurus series from Bandai offers an innovative approach to modeling, allowing you to learn about dinosaur anatomy through play and education. The model assembly process is divided into two main stages:
- Building the skeleton: Helps understand the bone structure and anatomy of the animal.
- Applying the skin armor: Elements that replicate the external appearance of the dinosaur are mounted on the completed skeleton.
Model features:
- Snap-fit model - does not require glue during assembly.
- Parts are factory-painted, allowing for an aesthetic effect without the need for painting.
- Movable parts allow the dinosaur to be posed in various positions.
- The set includes a dedicated display base with the name of the dinosaur.
- Product intended for modelers aged 6 and up.
Self-assembly kit. Does not include paints or tools. Does not require glue for assembly.
To assemble, you will need, for example, a knife or pliers - to cut the plastic parts from the frames. Additional modeling tools (such as files or tweezers) and paints will also be helpful (but are not required).
