Historical information: The Tu-134 is a Soviet passenger aircraft that debuted in the 1960s. In 1970, its modification Tu-134A was developed, which featured more advanced D-30 series two engines, reduced fuel consumption, and thrust reversers. The aerodynamic brake was also removed, and the number of passenger seats increased to 76 due to a 2.1-meter extension of the fuselage.
In 1980, another modification was introduced - the Tu-134B. In this version, instead of a navigator's cabin, the "Groza-134" radar was installed, allowing for the combination of the navigator and second pilot functions, thus reducing the crew to three people. The number of passenger seats increased to 80.
The Tu-134A/B-3 model from Zvezda is not only a modeling challenge but also an opportunity to delve into the history of civil aviation. With detailed assembly instructions and included decals, modelers can create an accurate replica of this historical aircraft.
Kit for self-assembly and painting. Does not include paints or glue. For assembly, separately sold modeling tools are needed (including cutters, files, tweezers), paints, brushes, and plastic model glue (e.g., Tamiya Extra Thin Cement). The photo shows a professionally assembled and painted model.
