Ursus wz. 29, also known as the wz. 29 armoured car, was a Polish armoured vehicle designed and manufactured during the interwar period and used in the initial phase of World War II. The vehicle was built at the Ursus plant commissioned by the Polish Army, which was looking for a heavily armoured and armed combat vehicle capable of supporting cavalry units. The design was based on the Ursus A truck chassis, however, the resulting design featured a completely new armoured hull with carefully shaped plates designed to protect the crew from small arms fire and shell splinters.

The vehicle entered series production around 1930, although due to high costs and the army's limited financial base, only a negligible number of units were built, estimated at around ten pieces. The main armament of the vehicle consisted of a semi-automatic Puteaux S.A. 18 37-millimetre cannon placed in a rotating turret, supported by two Hotchkiss wz. 25 7.92-millimetre machine guns. The vehicle featured solid firepower by the standards of the late 1920s, but it also had significant operational flaws, such as relatively high weight, a high centre of gravity, and mediocre performance and off-road mobility.

At the outbreak of hostilities in September 1939, the surviving units of the vehicle became part of the Masovian Cavalry Brigade, taking part in defensive battles against the German invader. Despite rapid equipment wear and the obsolescence of the design, these cars went down in the history of Polish armaments as a unique example of domestic technical thought of that period.
