The Porsche 956 is one of the most successful racing cars in the history of motorsport, having dominated endurance racing in the 1980s. Designed by Porsche in 1982 to meet the requirements of the new Group C category, this vehicle became an icon thanks to its innovative use of ground effect and a reliable turbocharged boxer engine.
The presented 1:24 scale model from Italeri depicts the Porsche 956 in the characteristic orange livery of the sponsor Jagermeister. These colors adorned the cars of the Brun Motorsport team, which successfully competed on tracks around the world, including the prestigious 24 Hours of Le Mans race.
