This plastic kit allows you to build a miniature of the Polish fighter that played a significant role in the history of military aviation.

Historical background: The PZL P.11a is an evolution of the earlier P.7 model, designed by engineer Zygmunt Puławski. This aircraft was produced from 1934 to 1936 at the State Aviation Works in Warsaw. At the time of its introduction into service in 1935, the PZL P.11a was one of the most modern fighters in the world. However, by 1939, its performance was already inferior to new German designs.

The PZL P.11a was the primary fighter of the Polish aviation during the September campaign in 1939. It was used by 12 out of 15 Polish fighter squadrons, which were part of the Pursuit Brigade and army aviation. After the war ended, some examples were transferred to other countries, including Romania and Hungary. The Hungarian military aviation took over one aircraft of this type, which was used as a trainer with the designation G-191. This aircraft served for training pilots and towing gliders, and its history ended in 1944 after the Red Army entered Hungary.

Currently, the only preserved example of the PZL P.11c is located in the Polish Aviation Museum in Krakow. This aircraft, produced in 1935, was used by the 121st Fighter Squadron. After the war, it went to the Aviation Museum in Berlin and then returned to Poland, where it is displayed to this day.
