RAF Bomber Command Paint Set 8x17ml Hataka BS102

Acrylic paint set from the Blue Line series, optimized for brush painting, containing the standard colors used by the RAF Bomber Command during World War II.

Since 1939, most RAF Bomber Command aircraft wore the Temperate Land Scheme camouflage. Depending on the purpose of the aircraft (light/day bombers or heavy/night bombers) and the period of the war, different colors were used for the lower surfaces, such as Sky "Type S" or Night. An exception was the De Havilland Mosquito bombers, which often left the factory painted in Medium Sea Grey with green camouflage on the upper surfaces.

• HTK-B009 Dark Earth - used on the upper surfaces in the Temperate Land Scheme.
• HTK-B016 Dark Green - the basic camouflage color for the upper surfaces of RAF bombers.
• HTK-B026 Sky "Type S" - used from mid-1940 on the underside of light and day bombers.

• HTK-B175 Red Dope (Red Primer) - the color corresponding to the red protective coating used on fabric construction elements.
• HTK-B326 BS Mid Bronze Green - the basic color for British aerial bombs from late 1940 to 1964.
