RAF Bomber Command Paint Set 8x17ml Hataka BS102

Acrylic paint set from the Blue Line series, optimized for brush painting, containing the standard colors used by the RAF Bomber Command during World War II.

Since 1939, most RAF Bomber Command aircraft wore the Temperate Land Scheme camouflage. Depending on the purpose of the aircraft (light/day bombers or heavy/night bombers) and the period of the war, different colors were used for the lower surfaces, such as Sky "Type S" or Night. An exception was the De Havilland Mosquito bombers, which often left the factory painted in Medium Sea Grey with green camouflage on the upper surfaces.

The set includes 8 bottles of 17ml:

HTK-B009 Dark Earth - used on the upper surfaces in the Temperate Land Scheme.
HTK-B016 Dark Green - the basic camouflage color for the upper surfaces of RAF bombers.
HTK-B026 Sky "Type S" - used from mid-1940 on the underside of light and day bombers.
HTK-B100 Jet Black / Night - the color for the lower surfaces of night bombers used since 1939.
HTK-B034 Medium Sea Grey - the standard base color for Mosquito aircraft since mid-1942.
HTK-B025 Interior Grey-Green - the standard color for the interiors of cockpits and wheel wells of British bombers.
HTK-B175 Red Dope (Red Primer) - the color corresponding to the red protective coating used on fabric construction elements.
