Description
RAF in Africa 4x17ml Paint Set Hataka HTK-AS08
Acrylic paint set from the Red Line series, optimized for airbrushing, containing standard camouflage colors of the British RAF aircraft operating in North Africa during World War II.
The theme of the set refers to the activities of the Polish Fighting Team (PFT), commonly known as "Skalski's Circus." It was an elite Polish unit commanded by Stanisław Skalski, which participated in the Tunisian campaign in 1943, flying Spitfire Mk IX aircraft. Polish pilots were sent to Africa to gain tactical experience before the planned invasion of the European continent.
The set contains 4 bottles of 17ml capacity with an eyedropper:
- HTK-A009 Dark Earth – used on upper surfaces in the RAF Mediterranean camouflage schemes.
- HTK-A013 Mid Stone – used on upper surfaces in the RAF desert camouflage.
- HTK-A025 Interior Grey-Green – standard color of the interiors of most British aircraft.
- HTK-A028 Azure Blue – used for painting the lower surfaces of aircraft in the Mediterranean scheme.
Red Line paints are characterized by high pigment quality and are ready to use in airbrushes, providing a smooth finish and excellent coverage.
