About the Dassault Rafale M aircraft: The Dassault Rafale is a twin-engine, multi-role fighter with delta wings, produced by the French company Dassault Aviation. The Rafale M, being the carrier version, is adapted for operation from aircraft carriers and features a reinforced structure and landing gear, allowing for takeoffs and landings on ship decks. This aircraft is equipped with advanced electronic systems, such as the THALES RBE2 radar and the Thales SPECTRA survivability system, making it one of the most modern fighters in the world.
The Rafale M entered service in 2002 and replaced older models such as the Chance Vought F-8 Crusader and the Dassault Super Etendard. It is used by the French Navy and exported to other countries such as Egypt, India, and Greece. This aircraft has participated in many combat operations, including the bombings in Libya in 2011 and missions in Mali in 2013.
