Description
Royal Air Force Paint Set 1938-41 8x17ml Hataka HTK-BS121
Acrylic paint set from the Blue Line series, optimized for brush painting. It contains 8 colors, each with a capacity of 17ml, designed to recreate the camouflage schemes of British Royal Air Force (RAF) aircraft during the critical early phase of World War II (1938-1941).
Historical Application:
From 1938 to 1941, the British aviation used distinctive camouflage schemes. The upper surfaces of most fighters (including the famous Supermarine Spitfire and Hawker Hurricane) and bombers were painted in Dark Earth and Dark Green colors. The undersides of the aircraft underwent numerous changes during this time - from silver (Silver) to black-and-white identification schemes, to the introduction of shades of Sky and its variants (Eau de Nil, Sky Blue) aimed at making it harder to detect the aircraft against the sky.
Contents of the Set:
- HTK-B016 Dark Green
- HTK-B009 Dark Earth
- HTK-B026 Sky
- HTK-B003 Silver
- HTK-B239 Mixed Sky 1 / BS No. 16 Eau de Nil
- HTK-B343 Mixed Sky 2 / BS No. 1 Sky Blue
