Plastic military model for assembly: RSO with PaK 40 1:35 Italeri 0355

A plastic model depicting the German tracked transport vehicle Raupenschlepper Ost (RSO) armed with the PaK 40 anti-tank gun. This vehicle was developed in response to the difficult logistical conditions on the Eastern Front, where the Wehrmacht's wheeled transport struggled with the mud and trackless terrain of the Soviet Union.

The RSO was designed by the Austrian company Steyr using components from the Steyr 1500 truck. In 1943, a self-propelled tank destroyer version was created, combining the tractor chassis with the powerful 7.5 cm PaK 40 gun. The vehicle was characterized by a simple construction, low production costs, and excellent off-road performance, although its maximum speed was only about 30 km/h.
