Description
Russian AF Helicopters paint set vol. 1 8x17ml Hataka HTK-AS86
Set of acrylic paints from the Red Line series, optimized for airbrush painting, containing the standard colors used by the Russian Air Force (Russian AF) for painting helicopters since 2010. Although many post-Soviet aircraft still carry older, varied paint schemes, a new standard of uniform dark grey colors for most types of aircraft was introduced in the early 2010s. After several years, a return to a three-color camouflage consisting of green and light brown on the upper surfaces and light blue on the underside was decided.
The set contains 8 bottles of 17ml with the following colors:
- HTK-A230 Dark Grey (FS36076) - General color of freshly painted modern Russian helicopters from 2010-14 (including Ka-52, Mi-28, Mi-24/35, Mi-8/17, Mi-26).
- HTK-A296 Faded Eggplant Grey - Color used to achieve the effect of fading and wear on modern Russian helicopters.
- HTK-A150 Blue-Green (FS35414) - Color of radar covers for Ka-52 helicopters in both camouflage variants.
- HTK-A293 Extra Light Blue (FS25550) - Color of electro-optical heads for Ka-52 and Mi-35M helicopters as well as Mi-28N components.
- HTK-A294 Mustard - Color of electro-optical heads for Mi-28 and standard color of armament for Russian attack helicopters.
- HTK-A155 Air Superiority Blue (FS35450) - Color of lower surfaces used since 2014 on Ka-52, Mi-28, Mi-8/17, Mi-24/35, and Mi-26 machines.
- HTK-A085 Khaki Green - Color of upper surfaces used in the new scheme since 2014.
- HTK-A295 Medium Tan (FS33522) - Second color of upper surfaces (light brown) used since 2014.
